The South West Women in Sport Leadership program will provide leadership training to 25 women who are currently involved in sporting clubs, local government or the broader sport sector.
Belinda Clark is a World Cup Champion Cricketer, cricket administrator, coach and a trailblazer - championing equal rights for female players.
Belinda was a giant of the Australian game both on and off the field, where she combined the roles of player and captain with that of chief executive of Women's Cricket Australia.
In September 2017, Belinda became only the second woman to be inducted into the International Cricket Council's Cricket Hall of Fame. Currently, her cricket fix comes on the administration side, running the Brisbane-based Centre of Excellence (COE), which helps train Australia's next generation of elite men and women cricketers. Clark joined the COE in 2005, after retiring from 14 years as an international player.
