Motorcycling Victoria

Motorcycling Victoria introduced the Female Participation Program in 2011.

To help improve the level of women and make a change for the better, Motorcycling Victoria introduced the Female Participation Program in 2011, creating a healthier sporting environment which is safe, accessible, inclusive and equitable in supporting the participation of women and girls in all areas of motorcycle sport.

The program aims to support women and girls in the sport, both competitively and recreationally, increase the number of female participants in all aspects and disciplines of the sport and increase the opportunities for development and participation as riders, coaches, officials and volunteers. These have been achieved through a series of rider practice and coaching days, female-only coaches and officials’ courses, promotional opportunities and dedicated leadership programs for women.
