Netball Victoria

Netball Victoria are doing a number of activities to increase leadership and participation by women and helping change our game for the better.

Rock Up Netball (RUN)

RUN provides a non-committal, flexible ‘pay as you play’ option for women ages 15+ to take part in netball in a fun, relaxed and social environment. Barriers of cost, uniform and commitment have been addressed.

Fast5 Netball

Netball in Australia’s new participation product, Fast5 Netball, was launched in Melbourne at the Fast5 Netball World Series held in October 2016. The game offers a modified version of netball that is shorter, faster and more social. Fast5 Netball aims to increase female participation in netball and bring more people back to the sport with less time commitment.

Emerging Leaders Program – LEADERSHIP

The Emerging Leaders Program is an initiative developed by Netball Victoria to empower leadership within our netball community. The program focuses on supporting and upskilling the volunteers and administrators within grassroots netball across the state. Within the program, participants are given the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills through personal development workshops, online learning and networking functions. Participants travel from across the state and bring various ranges of experience and backgrounds to the program.
