Change Our Game IWD Presentation

In celebration of International Women's Day 2021, we're excited to bring you this special Change Our Game presentation.

International Women’s Day gives us an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come in regard to gender equality and the road ahead in order to truly create a gender equal society. It’s an opportunity to reflect and celebrate the important role women play in our families, our workplaces, our sporting clubs and our communities more broadly.

Never has there been a greater need for us to recognise the tremendous efforts by women and girls in shaping a more equal future. There are so many women involved in sport and recreation whose contribution deserves to be recognised. Community leaders, on and off the field heroes and change makers.

Sport is for everyone. It doesn’t just belong to one group or one type of person. Now more than ever, we recognise the incredibly important role sport and recreation plays in our communities. It provides a platform to challenge traditional and rigid stereotypes and provides opportunity for all, regardless of gender identity, ability, background, and sexual preference.

We had the pleasure of chatting with Australian cricketing legend and former Cricket Australia Executive, Belinda Clark AO who has provided a unique and inspiring insight into her leadership journey and the courage, persistence and commitment required to manage change and drive positive outcomes for all.

We hope you enjoy the presentation and can use the insights and learnings to drive change within your communities.
