No boundaries for women and girls in sport resource

On Sunday 8 March 2020 the MCC launched its  ‘Pathway to gender equality in sport including pay equality’ report. To complement this document was the launch of the ‘No boundaries for women and girls in sport and physical activity roadmap’ and the business case for investing in women in sport. These two documents were established from a collaborative approach with a range of national stakeholders in the sport, government, corporate, university and philanthropic sectors. It was led by the Australian Women in Sport Advisory Group.

The purpose of these documents is to assist national, state and local sport organisations in their quest to create ‘no boundaries’ for women and girls in sport.

The roadmap identifies insights, focus points, measure standards and a checklist for action.

The business case provides answers on ‘why’ organisations need to invest in women in sport.

For more information on the documents you can visit the Australian Women in Sport Advisory Group website.
