The 2024-25 Change Our Game Professional Development Scholarships Program is NOW OPEN

The Change Our Game Professional Development Scholarships Program supports women to access professional development opportunities at different stages of their career pathway, from individuals in the formative early years of their careers, returning from a career break such as parental leave, emerging leaders, senior leaders, current and new or aspiring board members and those volunteering or working in community sport and active recreation.

This year’s program also provides a new dedicated Women with a Disability stream, for women with a disability living in regional Victoria seeking to progress their career in the sector and a new Community Leaders stream for women volunteering or working in community sport and recreation to gain better access to professional development opportunities.

In 2024-25, the program offers six streams:

- Learning Stream: For those in the early years of their paid employment or returning after a career break.

- Next Generation Leaders Stream: For those aspiring to become a CEO or senior executive leader.

- Women with a Disability Stream: For those with disability seeking to progress their career in the sport and recreation sector.

- Executive Stream: For those who hold a CEO position or currently report to a CEO.

- Governance Stream: For new or aspiring board directors in the sport and active recreation sector.

- Community Leaders Stream: For women volunteering or working within community sport and active recreation clubs or organisations to develop as community leaders.

Applications from women from targeted or under-represented groups are strongly encouraged.
