In October the Office for Women in Sport and Recreation hosted the first of our online Change Our Game Conversation Series - The Matildas Effect: Let's talk about supporting women to participate, stay and succeed in sport.

Three of our Change Our Game Ambassadors spoke about all things participation, visibility and leadership in sport, with an emphasis on how we can harness the 'Matildas Effect' and ensure that the World Cup momentum drives further opportunities and success for women in sport.

The Office then hosted our second online Change Our Game Conversation Series - Sport should be for everyone: Let's talk about making sport and recreation welcoming and inclusive for all women and girls.

Four of our Change Our Game Ambassadors spoke about how we can make sure sport and recreation are spaces where women feel respected, safe and valued, no matter where they come from, who they are, or what their background is.

We heard about...

- How to make sports organisations and facilities more inclusive and accessible for individuals with diverse abilities

- How to challenge societal stereotypes and perceptions

- What some of the key challenges for women and girls with disabilities in sport might be

- The opportunity sport has to prevent discrimination and promote inclusivity.

Sarah Loh, CEO of Softball Australia, facilitated the event and ended the conversation asking the group what being a Change Our Game Ambassador means to them, and the opportunities it has presented.
